A grey coloured she wolf small and slight in size but with a muscular build. An agile creature capable of fast movements sat still in the dim greying light of her den doing nothing but listening to the litter patter of rain drops against the roof and starting glumly outside watching the rain fall. This she wolf was Tundra a warrior ranked wolf of the Moon pack.
Tundra shivered in coldness even though she was inside her den a strong icy cold wind was blowing inside through the entrance of her den. She wished for company of one of her pack mates as she sat there but she knew that none would come. Her den was pretty isolated from the others and anyway who would come outside in this weather just to see her?
It seemed to Tundra that she had been sitting alone in the cold for hours before slowly the rain changed to a drizzle the string wind to nothing more than a breeze. She got to her feet watching the drops of rain still falling slowly. It was a matter of minutes passing before that too stopped and finally it was dry out side.
Tundra left her den walking quickly outside into the fresh air. The ground beneath her feet was still wet from the rain, droplets of water glistening on the ends of blades of grass. At a brisk walk she made her way over to camp. Her den was uphill from camp so she hasn't noticed anything then but now as she came to camp she saw that there things were worse than just droplets on blades of grass. Camp was flooded! Not badly but still the water stood at about halfway up her legs. She waded through it slowly barking to her pack mates wondering where they were and if they were alright.
