Accalia slid into every shadow as she hunted along the edge of the Grove of Wild Cats. These wild cats are vicious, and only the best hunters go after them. Accalia wasn't a hunter, she was a warrior. Nevertheless, she was hunting these cats. One came slinking out of the shadows to stalk a mouse. In a flash, Accalia was on top of it, claws unsheathed and digging into its skin. She bit down hard on its neck before it registered what happened, so it was a quick kill. Dragging it out of the grove, she began to seperate the meat. The pack liked only the tender meat in the shoulders, legs, and lower back. She gathered up the meat in her jaws (The cat was fairly large, so this strained her jaws), and set off in search of a nice tree to bury the meat in, so no other predators got the meat, and so that she could hunt more.

The scent of the blood from Accalia's kill caught in the nostrils of Terra Nova. He approached silently through the trees watching the she-wolf bury her kill under a tree. She even though she was a warrior had managed to catch a wild cat. Deciding to let his presence be known he took another step forward not so silently this time and gave a bark as a greeting to her. He stopped and waited for her to turn towards him not speaking yet.

Accalia looked up, surprised by the heavy footfalls. Then she heard Terra Nova's familiar bark and turned around, barking back a greeting. "How are you, Terra?" She began to paw the ground. She had a habit of doing so in the presence of Terra.
[Ooh! I think I just found Accalia a CRUUUUSHHH~! And also, sure! I'll make her go and in the meeting thread will make it as if this hunt is in the past.]

Terra Nova smiled a little at Accalia, most of the wolves called him Nova or some mainly those trying to suck up to him or those afraid of him because of something called him Terra Nova- his full name. Being called Terra was a nice change for him. He nodded his head to Accalia "I'm good and yourself?" he asked her continuing the small talk "Nice catch you got there" he added gesturing towards where she had buryied the wild cat that she had caught.

Terra Nova smiled slightly at the she-wolf taking half a step forwards. He eyed the spot where she had hurried the dead wild cat. "You planning in leaving that there for long?" he asked her. He usually wasn't one to make much of a resereve, when he caught prey he ate it and if he was full he gave the reedy to the pack to whoever of the wolves who might want to eat it.

"Well, until I'm done hunting. I learned a useful trick from the wildcats: Bury your prey so as other predators don't get it, and so you can hunt more." She said importantly, chest fur fluffed out.

Terra Nova smiled and nodded his head a little bit, "So your going to catch some more" he said adding "That is a useful trick I suppose". He gave a bit of a smile before offering "If you'd like I'll help you with the hunting?". As he thought about hunting and food his stomach gave a small growl.

"Sure," Accalia said gleefully, and turned to go back into the grove. She accidentally tripped over her own paws. She didn't notice she was pawing the ground agin. Spitting dirt out of her mouth, she continued onward like nothing happened.

Terra Nova turned to follow her, seeing her trip he chuckled "Be careful". He trotted after her to catch up with her. She seemed to have a funny habit of pawing the ground but he didn't comment. He was already starting to feel the excitement rushing through his body, getting ready for the thrill of a hunt. He could do with some food too, some nice fresh meat!

Accalia laughed. "Okay!" Then quieted. Hunting Wild Cats took patience and practice. One came padding cautiously into the grove, stalking a mouse. So intent on its prey, it didn't notice Accalia stalk up behind it and pin it down. The mouse streaked off, and the cat thrashed around, giving some good wounds to Accalia's legs. She bit down hard on the cat's throught, and didn't let go until it lay still. Then she dragged it over to Terra. "Have you ever caught a wild cat before?" She asked casually, resisting pawing the ground.

Terra Nova watched Accalia carefully while she took down the wild cat. He was going to help her but she was too quick, he didn't even get a chance. When she came back to him he shook his head. "No I haven't." he said, "I haven't even tried eating one yet either" he grinned slightly. He glanced towards the body of the cat that lay between them. He was alpha it was his right to eat first but he stood back slightly.
