Layla walked through the water pack territory on her way to the lake. She looked around for some other wolves from her pack because she felt rather lonely but didn't spot any, she sighed on continued on her way. She was pretty close now she could hear the rushing sounds of the water from the waterfall hitting the lake. She sped up the pace of her walk slightly eager to get to the water. She could see it now up ahead of her but sadly no wolves where there either but at least there was water. She walked towards the lake and stopped when she reached the edge. She bent down and took a long drink from its cool refreshing water before carefully dipping in her left paw to feel the temperature of the water. Thankfully it wasn't cold, the water was nice and warm perfect for swimming and the sun was shining on the lake- a perfect day was what it was really now she just needed some company. Being a water pack wolf she of course loved swimming so she put her paw down into the water and stepped into it. Slowly she waded out into the water until it was too deep for her to stand, then she moved forward swimming as gracefully as one can swim in doggy-paddling style. She swam out a little further and then turned towards the waterfall behind which she knew there was a secret cave. She loved being in the cave but what she loved more was showing it to wolves that hadn't known that it was there.

Blizzard|Water Pack|Beta|Single Blizzard stretched and yawned inside his den. He lay where he was for a few moments before getting up and walking outside.
Outside in the clearing in was a bright day, sunny with a slight breeze blowing. The clearing was deserted only the scent of his alpha lingered there. He could smell it, she had passed recently on her way to the lake. After a moment of standing there he decided to follow.
He walked along the same path he could smell his alpha having taken before him over towards the lake.
When he reached the lake he could see his alphas White fur moving in the water over to the waterfall. He knew what lay behind it he had been showed before. He didn't want to get wet so he just lowered his head at the edge of the water to take a drink and at the same time show respect for his alpha.
The cold water trickled down his throat as he drank it up slowly keeping his eyes downwards looking at his reflection in the water. He could see his blue eyes looking right back at him. |

(Pretty wolf even if it is a male xD)
Just as Layla reached the water fall and was about to take a deep breath to dive under it to the cave at the other side she heard a sound at the edge of the water behind her . She swam around in a tight semi circle to see who or what had made the sound. Once she had turned she looked at the wolf who she saw drinking at the edge of the lake. It took her a moment to place the wolf because she couldn't see his most prominent feature- his eyes. She studied the wolfs eye fur and body for a moment before realizing it was Blizzard her packs beta male. She gave a quick and quite bark in form of a greeting to him. She knew that he knew about the cave behind the waterfall as she herself he been there when it was showed to him but it didn't seem the interest him as much as it interested her. It puzzled her how he didn't find it interesting but she knew that there wasn't much to it apart from an air or mystery and a bit of privacy. She doubted that he would want to come to the cave with her so shedecied to talk to him before she went by herself when he was gone. She swam towards him until she reached where the lake was shallow enough for her to stand. She didn't go any further she preferred to stay in the water. She nodded her head at the wolf and gave him a slight smile. "Hello Blizzard" she greeted him in a friendly tone.

Blizzard raised his head from the water to look from the reflection of his own blue eyes into the Amber eyes of his alpha. He dipped his head respectfully and greeted the she wolf "Hello Layla". Some water dripped from his still wet snout back into the lake making a drip dripping sound. He licked his muzzle to dry it. "How are you this fine day?" he asked Layla returning her friendliness.(Writers Block >.<) |

Layla smiled kindly at the Beta. "I'm good I just been a little lonely" she chuckled "Was just going for a bit of a swim" she told him the obvious. Water dripped from her coat into the water so she didn't even notice the sound of dripping of water from his muzzle back into the lake. She tilted her head slightly towards him and asked "Care to join me for a swim?". The least her beta could do was decline and leave her to have a peaceful nap in the cave behind the waterfall, if he accepted then she might have some company for the next while rather than wandering around the territory alone making nothing but brief encounters and exchanging the usual greetings.

Layla smiled glad that one she would finally be getting some company. She dipped her nose into the water and flicked it upwards to splash her blue eyed beta playfully. When he had waded in so much that he was quite close to her she turned to go in further herself back to ground on which she could not stand but had to swim in. She paddled until she was just a few metres from the centre of the lake then she turned back to see if Blizzard was following her. He seemed still to be on shallow ground of the lake so she stayed where she was paddling to stay afloat on the same spot while she waited for him to reach her.

Layla smiled at the beta paddling backwards a bit further in the direction of the waterfall. She dipped her nose underwater bringing it upwards sharply to splash Blizzard once again. She paddled another bit towards the waterfall out of reach of being splashed back once again. If he wanted to get her back then he would have to swim closer to her again. She waited for him, expecting that he would follow her white body bobbing up and down slightly in the water. Of course she did want to lure him closer towards the cave she liked so much but this was also fun for her, it was nice to have some time to swim and play in the water rather than going about her usual alpha duties doing long jobs like patrolling the territory all on her own. Patrolling the territory boarders, she hated it! All on her own going the same uninteresting route each time, it was boring but it had to be done.

Layla smiled a Blizzard but at that moment the water he had made splash towards her hit her, right all over her face. Hurriedly she paddled backwards a little not on purpose this time. Water dripped from her face and she closed her eyes to shield them from this water but at the same time she started giggling a little. She shook her head sending droplets of water spraying back into the lake then opened her eyes. She dived under the water slightly until her foot connected with the bottom of the water, then she pushed upwards. She resurfaced slapping both her paws on the surface of the water, sending a lot of water towards Blizzard to get him back in a playful manner of course.

Blizzard|Water Pack|Beta|Single Blizzard first thought that he had angered his usually so clam,sweet and gentle alpha female nut when she giggled he knew he hadn't so he felt relived. She swam backwards so he swam after her a little until she dived under water. Where had she gone and what was she doing? It literall hit him a few second later when she resurfaced and splashed an awful lot of later in his face. He closed his eyes letting it wash over him. He spluttered slightly but then grinned at Layla as the water trickled from his face back into the lake. He did as she had done and shook his head, fluffing up his fur but at the same time ridding it of water. |

Layla giggled looking at Blizzard. His wet fur was sticking up all over the place. She glanced over her shoulder towards the waterfall. Instead of slowly leading him towards it she decided it would be better just to ask him. "Want to go into the cave behind the waterfall? You know about it right?" she suggested looking at the male hopefully. She really did like that cave.
